One Shot Short - Post Production

The video above shows the clip we filmed for our One Shot Short. The video is the raw footage and I have been playing around with it, editing it in PowerDirector to create a different feel to it. I'll upload it once i've finished.

We wanted to film a CCTV style video, showing 2 men trying to ask for directions and then stealing the bag from inside the car, they run off as the car skids away. We thought this idea was going to be quite good and gave us many options to edit with.

Narrative Seminar

This is the kind of project I love and hopefully the area of interest ill be working in for a career. We were given about 9 different videos and we had to put it all together to create a scene. I've cut bits and moved things around to create this scene. The subtitles were placed onto it as our group were told to use them to show what the characters are actually thinking. The positioning of the text, either aligned left or right corresponds with the character to make it easier to understand. The quality isn't that good, but you can imagine it being better quality with more time to work on it.

Replacing Colours

These photos were taken and edited on photoshop. I used the complimentary colours, blue and orange to show how food can look different and our physcological feeling towards them. The bread on the first photo has a golden brown one on the bottom, this is to show how tempting it is to eat, however the other is coloured blue. The blue one shows a way that we can almost "taste" our food by looking at it. There's nothing wrong with the bread, it's just because it's coloured blue, we don't find it appetising.

The second photo shows a blue piece of food that, of course, looks unappetising, however the beer next to the food has gone mouldy as you can see the mould growing inside the glass. Neither of these foods look appetising, due to their half eaten state, their colour and the mould growing inside the glass of bear.
