Even a powerful and well respected company such as Apple can make mistakes with their adverts by pushing the boundaries.
Their advert features the iPhone loading up internet pages in a fraction of a second. Obviously this is not going to be possible when you're out on the move and therefore the advert is missleading. When i've seen the advert on TV, I have always thought how fast the demonstration looks and always knew that there would be various complaints about the advert due to it just being so inaccurate.
This isn't the first time Apple have had their advert tackled. The ASA combated them before about the same issue, explaining for them to do something about it, however Apple only added the words "Network connect may differ by location". Not really much to tell the viewer that the internet is actually no where near as fast as it looks in this advert.
